Finding our founders

Game-changing ideas can come from lots of places!  Often, we’ll meet founders through others we’ve backed, or our network of advisors, universities, accelerators, and likeminded investors.  We insist on passionate, honest, and highly technical founders who know their market and customer better than anyone. We’ll consider differentiated technologies at the intersection of data and the sciences that have credible business models for outsized impacts.

Build trust and learn more

We work to build a trusted relationship while learning more about our founders’ vision, leadership and teambuilding skills, and the technology fueling the product. We use our collective expertise as investors, physicians, physicists, and engineers to fully explore the future potential of what’s being built.

Once we’re at “yes!”, we roll up our sleeves to support success. We’ve been founders ourselves, and we respect the pressures and curveballs that are part of building something new.
